Lesson 23

This is a summary grammar exercise from Lesson 23 of GENKI 2. Master practical expressions through application practice combining the grammar studied in Lesson 23!

Practise grammar using verb stem and かた to show how to do something. I have also written examples that are not in the textbook, so even if you have a textbook, you should check it out!

Learn the dictionary form of verbs and the use of まで to express the duration of an action. Supplementary explanations are also given for までに, which is not explained in the textbook.

Study expressions that express habits using ことにしている It also describes examples of the past tense, which are not specifically explained in the textbook.

Learn the sentence pattern for using the Short form present tense of verbs and ことにする to express a decision to do or not to do something. Examples of using the Short form past tense are also written for reference, so you can compare them!

Practise the grammar of combining the て forms of verbs, adjectives and nouns with も to express that the same conclusion is reached regardless of the conditions. Related sentence patterns not found in the textbook are also carefully explained with example sentences!

You will learn the conjugation and usage of the causative-passive form, which combines the causative and passive forms. Longer conjugated forms, which are not well explained in the textbook, are also explained in detail.
